O m\u00eas de dezembro \u00e9 conhecido como \u201cDezembro Laranja\u201d, justamente para que a doen\u00e7a, causas e tratamento sejam abordados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O c\u00e2ncer de pele \u00e9 um tipo de c\u00e2ncer que se desenvolve quando as c\u00e9lulas da pele sofrem danos causados pela exposi\u00e7\u00e3o excessiva aos raios ultravioleta (UV) do sol ou de fontes artificiais, como camas de bronzeamento. Existem diferentes formas de c\u00e2ncer de pele, sendo os tipos mais comuns o carcinoma basocelular, o carcinoma espinocelular e o melanoma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cO carcinoma basocelular e o carcinoma espinocelular geralmente se manifestam como feridas que n\u00e3o cicatrizam, sali\u00eancias, manchas ou pintas que mudam de cor, tamanho ou textura. J\u00e1 o melanoma \u00e9 reconhecido por mudan\u00e7as em pintas j\u00e1 existentes ou pelo surgimento de novas pintas que t\u00eam formato irregular, bordas assim\u00e9tricas, de cor marrom\/preto (mas pode ter outras cores) e di\u00e2metro geralmente maior que seis mil\u00edmetros, mas pode ser menor que isso\u201d, explica o m\u00e9dico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conforme a secret\u00e1ria J\u00f3ice Cristina Horst, \u00e9 fundamental que as pessoas estejam atentas a qualquer altera\u00e7\u00e3o na pele, principalmente aquelas de pele mais clara, pois t\u00eam maior propens\u00e3o a desenvolver c\u00e2ncer devido \u00e0 menor quantidade de melanina, que \u00e9 o pigmento protetor da pele. \u201cFazer autoexames regularmente, observando mudan\u00e7as em pintas ou manchas \u00e9 uma pr\u00e1tica importante para identificar precocemente poss\u00edveis sinais de c\u00e2ncer de pele\u201d, acrescenta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O uso regular de protetor solar, evitar a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o solar intensa entre 10h e 16h e utilizar roupas e acess\u00f3rios que protejam a pele s\u00e3o medidas preventivas cruciais. Quando detectado precocemente, o c\u00e2ncer de pele tem grandes chances de cura.
