O recurso veio do Programa de Acelera\u00e7\u00e3o do Crescimento (PAC), do Governo Federal via Minist\u00e9rio da Sa\u00fade. O equipamento foi avaliado em R$ 8,8 milh\u00f5es e deve entrar em opera\u00e7\u00e3o ainda em 2024, substituindo o anterior utilizado na casa de sa\u00fade, instalado em 2005.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u00c9 um compromisso do presidente Lula de ampliar a capacidade de atendimento e valorizar o SUS. O Hospital Bruno Born \u00e9 refer\u00eancia na macro-regi\u00e3o e a amplia\u00e7\u00e3o do atendimento em oncologia \u00e9 prioridade para o Governo Federal\u201d, destacou Pimenta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O novo acelerador se soma a outro, instalado em 2022.
