Na ter\u00e7a-feira (8), a equipe da Pol\u00edcia Civil esteve em Santa Maria, onde ouviu 17 pessoas, entre v\u00edtimas e membros da universidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;As v\u00edtimas relataram que o \u00f4nibus desceu a ribanceira ganhando velocidade, e que nem todos usavam cinto de seguran\u00e7a&#8221;, afirmou o delegado. &#8220;Alguns n\u00e3o usaram porque n\u00e3o quiseram, outros porque n\u00e3o havia cinto dispon\u00edvel.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segundo o depoimento das testemunhas, o motorista tentou frear o ve\u00edculo em diversos momentos, sem sucesso. &#8220;Ele alegou que tentou, mas os freios falharam. O \u00f4nibus acabou ganhando muita velocidade at\u00e9 cair no barranco&#8221;, explicou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reis confirmou que o condutor do \u00f4nibus tamb\u00e9m foi ouvido novamente. Embora tenha mantido a maior parte de sua vers\u00e3o anterior, houve uma altera\u00e7\u00e3o em um ponto espec\u00edfico. &#8220;Desta vez, ele n\u00e3o confirmou que sabia de qualquer problema no ve\u00edculo antes de iniciar a viagem&#8221;, destacou o delegado. &#8220;Ele disse que estava desorientado no momento em que fez a declara\u00e7\u00e3o anterior e que recebeu o \u00f4nibus com a informa\u00e7\u00e3o de que estava tudo em dia.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o ainda est\u00e1 em curso. Algumas v\u00edtimas ainda n\u00e3o prestaram depoimento por estarem hospitalizadas ou residirem em outras cidades. A Pol\u00edcia Civil deve retornar a Santa Maria nos pr\u00f3ximos dias para concluir as oitivas restantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, o laudo pericial sobre o \u00f4nibus \u00e9 aguardado para os pr\u00f3ximos dias.
